The draft amendment of the secondhand goods act is before the parliament.  Once the parliament re-directs the draft to be re-written then BAC can engage all relevant stakeholders for inputs.  The theft of non-ferrous metal is still an ongoing problem and the SAPS are working closely with affected stakeholders to deal with the problem.  Dedication of National Prosecution Authority by giving non ferrous cases the attention it deserves and their insight on how severe the problem is is highly appreciated.  The National Prosecuting authority has nominated Non-Ferrous metal theft as one of their key projects under the leadership of Adv. Bissessur.
